The Catalyst is a tactical missile launcher that obliterates most units with its high damage and a large blast radius. Each missile must be built separately, for a cost in time and resources.

They’re great for rendering enemy defenses useless before an assault, and for destroying advancing units while you build a quick reaction force to combat them. Catalyst missiles can easily wipe out entire groups of enemies in a single shot. They can also be effective on enemy fleets idling offshore—including submarines and amphibous forces, as the blast is large enough to reach beneath the water..

Unlike strategic missile launchers, Catalysts generate no special warning message for enemies when spotted or fired.
